RONALD J. ABDOW FIELD

RONALD J. ABDOW FIELD

Originally built in 2009, Ronald J. Abdow Field serves as the home field for the American International College field hockey, football, lacrosse, soccer, and rugby programs. The field is dedicated in honor of longtime College Trustee Ronald J. Abdow, who made a significant contribution toward the project.

The stadium, which had a new Sprint Turf playing surface installed in 2020, features lights and bleachers on both sides of the field in addition to a full press box that allows live streaming of all home contests through the NE10Now Network.

The facility has a capacity of 4,000 spectators. The main grandstand on the home team side holds 2,000, with additional seating on the visitor’s sideline and standing room areas at both ends of the field. On the far end zone side of the field, space exists to allow additional functions to be held concurrent with games, such as during Homecoming.
