Haker, Lavelle, Patterson earn NE10 Baseball All-Conference honors

MANSFIELD, Massachusetts - Three members of the American International College baseball team earned Northeast-10 Conference All-Conference honors, the league office announced on Wednesday, May 8.

Jackson Haker earned Second-Team All-Conference at third base, while Ryan Lavelle was named an All-Defensive Team outfielder and Cole Patterson nabbed All-Rookie Team accolades, also in the outfield.

Haker was lauded at third base for the second year in a row; at the time of release, his .358 batting average was sixth in the NE10, while his .462 on-base percentage was seventh. He collected 53 hits including 11 doubles, two triples, and five home runs, scoring 28 times and driving in 26.

Lavelle repeated on the All-Defensive Team after another spectacular season in the outfield. Playing both right and center field, Lavelle racked up 108 putouts and three outfield assists in 42 games. 

Patterson became a regular starter in the second half of the season for AIC and had an immediate impact, hitting .344 with a .436 on-base percentage in his inaugural collegiate campaign. He also drove run creation by stealing eight bases, and was not caught on any attempts.
