CORTLAND, New York - The American International College men's lacrosse team had a strong showing in a 18-5 win over D'Youville University on Sunday, March 10.

AIC is now 4-2 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets started strong with three goals in the first 5:08. Devon Walker lit the lamp first from Jack Bamford, who then scored on a feed from Callan Dent. Jacob Ligor scored the third goal from Tyler Goode. After Jake Bush broke AIC's run, Dawson Long finished a feed from Goode to give AIC a 4-1 lead after one.

Andrew Boyer sank a feed from Bamford to start the second, and later returned the favor as AIC was man-up midway through the period. Bamford then set up Goode for a goal, and then Goode was able to assist both Boyer and Bamford in the final 1:35. The Saints struck twice in the period, leaving AIC up 9-3 through 30 minutes.

D'Youville scored first and briefly held AIC scoreless in the third, but then the Yellow Jackets woke up again. Goode set up both Bamford and Long for goals, and Long also scored unassisted in a 1:44 span. After another D'Youville goal, Goode again found Boyer and Bamford to finish, pushing the AIC advantage to 14-5 through three.
