Linkletter earns USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American honors

SPARKS, Maryland – USA Lacrosse announced its 2025 NCAA Division II Preseason All-American teams on Wednesday, January 29. American International College long-stick midfielder Carter Linkletter was named a Third-Team selection.

Linkletter became AIC's first-ever lacrosse All-American in 2024 when USA Lacrosse named him an Honorable Mention at long-stick midfield, and also garnered Third-Team status from the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association.

He was additionally named Northeast-10 Conference Rookie of the Year and the program's first-ever First-Team All-Northeast-10 Conference selection.

The honors come on the heels of a campaign where he snagged 68 ground balls and caused 34 turnovers, while scoring 19 goals with eight assists for 27 points in 15 games.

Linkletter and his teammates open the 2025 season at Ronald J. Abdow Field on Saturday, February 8 at 1:00 p.m. against Roberts Wesleyan University.
