Men's Soccer battles hard in loss at No. 1 Franklin Pierce

RINDGE, New Hampshire - The American International College men's soccer team fell 3-1 to No. 1 Franklin Pierce University in Northeast-10 Conference play on Friday, October 13.

AIC is now 2-4-6 on the season with a 2-2-1 NE10 mark.

The Ravens jumped to an early lead with a goal by Aaron Sanchez Sanchez at 5:45.

AIC was able to equalize in the 31st minute. Esben Guldager fired a perfect corner kick from the left side to just above the right post, and Hallvard Boehn was there to head it beyond the reach of the Ravens goalkeeper for his first of the season at 30:57.

Early in the second half, the Ravens were awarded a free kick right at the top of the box, and Jeronimo Ferrando Ferri struck it home at 46:38.

Younes Addar Khanoussi added a goal at 70:28 for the 3-1 final.

AIC returns home on Tuesday, October 17 for a 7:00 p.m. tilt against Bentley University.
