Le Moyne fends off women's basketball
SYRACUSE, New York - The American International College women's basketball team fell on the road to Le Moyne College 67-54 on Wednesday, February 16 in Northeast-10 Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Dolphins started on a 5-0 run to open the game up. Sophomore Julia Carbonell Munoz put the Yellow Jackets on the board at the 6:39 mark. Le Moyne closed out the quarter with a 10-0 run to lead 24-14.
- Trailing 26-14 graduate Destine Perry found the bottom of the net from deep to spark a run. On the next possession graduate Sara Guntin Barreiro hit a jumper to make it a seven-point game. After forcing a turnover on the defensive end, Perry hit a jumper to bring the deficit to a handful. At the break the Dolphins held a 38-28 lead.
- Out of the locker room graduate Charee Osborne grabbed a steal and Perry finished on the other end. Sophomore Kayla Robinson recorded a steal and went coast-to-coast for the fastbreak basket and made it a two-possession game. After 30 minutes of play the home team led 52-39.
- AIC tried to make a run in the fourth but the two teams tied the 10 minute segment as the Dolphins took the game 67-54.
