Saints push past Women's Lacrosse

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's lacrosse team lost a 21-5 result against D'Youville University on Thursday, March 13.

AIC is now 2-5 for the season.

The Saints scored the game's first four goals in a 3:44 span before Robin Trombly set up Jordyn Galgay for AIC's first. Isabelle Stone also scored for AIC in the quarter, but the Saints led 9-2 after one.

Stone also scored in the second as the visiting squad extended its edge to 13-3 at halftime.

Mackenna Donohue and Gabrielle Walz scored in the third, but ultimately the Saints blanked AIC in the fourth to earn the 21-5 win.

The team opens Northeast-10 Conference play on Saturday, March 22 at Adelphi University.
