Wrestling competes at "Shorty" Hitchcock Classic at Millersville

MILLERSVILLE, Pennsylvania - The American International College wrestling team competed in Millersville University's 2023 "Shorty" Hitchcock Classic on Saturday, November 18.

AIC's top performer was Jack MacKiernan, who picked up four wins. Among his victories were a pin of Kasim Bahar from East Stroudsburg, a 7-3 decision against West Virginia's Luke Eschenheimer, and a pin of Jimmy Spindler from the University of Pittsburgh-Johnstown in just 53 seconds. 

Hayden Gaudette scored two victories as well, including an impressive 37-second pin over West Chester's Isaac Hartman.

The Yellow Jackets continue the season on Saturday, December 2 at the Ted Reese Invitational at the University of Southern Maine.
