Women's Tennis closes season against Saint Anselm, New Haven

SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's tennis team fell 7-0 to Saint Anselm College on Saturday, October 5, and 7-0 to the University of New Haven on Sunday, October 6 in Northeast-10 Conference action.

AIC ends the fall campaign at 0-8 overall and 0-8 in the NE10.

Against the Hawks, Maria Cedeno and Katja Milicevic snagged three games at first doubles, while Taisha Jones and Charlotte Tvelia won two at second doubles.

Jones had a great battle at second singles with Julia Borschig, ultimately falling 6-4, 6-4.

Lillian Acampora won her first collegiate game in the second set of fifth singles.

Jones had AIC's best showing against New Haven, taking three games in the second set of second singles.
