Bio

Christian LaLomia was named an assistant coach for baseball on November 11, 2021. He will serve as the team's pitching coach and assist in all aspects of the program.

LaLomia comes to AIC following a tremendous playing career at Ithaca College. With the Bombers from 2015-19, he was part of four consecutive Liberty League titles as a relief pitcher, helping the team to a combined 118-54 record and three NCAA Tournament appearances. He earned his degree in sport media at Ithaca, and served on the Ithaca Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
 
Following graduation, he took a job as the graduate assistant coach at the University of Connecticut from 2019-21, assisting in all aspects of the program including scouting and statistics, running drills, evaluating both current athletes as well as recruits, and planning of both practice and game day. With LaLomia on the bench, the Huskies won the 2021 Big East Regular Season and Tournament titles, making the NCAA Tournament, and the coaching staff won the Big East's Coaching Staff of the Year Award.
 
LaLomia has additional experience as an assistant coach in 2020 with the Cuse Bombers, a 15U travel team from Syracuse, New York, and in 2021 was named the pitching/infield coach for the Norwich Sea Unicorns of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.
