Batista records double-double in men's basketball loss to SNHU
SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College men's basketball returned home on Wednesday, January 19 to host Southern New Hampshire University for a Northeast-10 Conference game. The Yellow Jackets had four players score in double digits but fell by a score of 83-71.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- AIC came out hot in the first minute of the game as rookie Donovan Miller and junior Walter Covington each nailed a shot from three. The two teams remained close to even in the first half as neither team had more than AIC's six-point edge in the opening 60 seconds. At the break, SNHU lead 36-31.
- AIC trailed 53-40 with 15:43 remaining when a jumper by junior Frankyn Batista sparked a run. Batista forced a turnover on the other end of the court and graduate Jordan Vidal hit a shot on the other end of the court to make while drawing the foul and scoring three the hard way.
- Seven points was as close as the Yellow Jackets could bring the score as the Penmen stole a win, 83-71.
