Ravens spoil men's basketball's playoffs
RINDGE, New Hampshire - The American International College men's basketball team fell in the first round of the Northeast-10 Conference Championship at Franklin Pierce University by a score of 86-82.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Ravens took an early 11-2 lead in the five minutes after the tip. Trailing 17-9 with 11 minutes on the clock, sophomore Jalen Jordan hit a jumper. On the next possession, graduate Jordan Vidal hit a driving layup to make it a four-point game. After forcing another miss on the other end, junior Walter Covington swished a three on the fast break and made it a one-point game.
- Trailing by 10 with 27 seconds left in the opening frame, Jordan hit another layup to bring the AIC deficit to eight as the teams headed to the locker room.
- AIC trailed 77-62 with three minutes remaining in the game. Graduate Xion Golding hit a jumper and the Yellow Jackets forced a turnover on the other end before freshman Carlos Hubb hit a three and made it a 10-point game with two minutes left.
- With 1:23 on the clock, Vidal hit a three off a pass from Golding to trail by single digits. The Yellow Jackets forced another turnover and rookie Buka Peikrishvili made it a four-point game with a three. That was as close as the Yellow Jackets came as the Ravens took the game 86-82.
