Bio

John "Boo" LeVeque-Jackson was hired as the head men's golf coach at American International College on June 13, 2023. He will lead all aspects of the program.

Jackson’s work both on the course and off is impressive. He has served as a golf professional or director of golf at courses such as the Crumpin-Fox Club and GreatHorse in Western Massachusetts. Over his career, he has facilitated or administered over 150 golf tournaments, including USGA Qualifiers, Mass Golf Championships, and charity events.

As a player, he has competed in over 100 professional golf events, carding multiple top-10 finishes in NEPGA, Tri-State PGA, and CTPGA events. He passed the PGA Playing Ability Test on his first attempt, which is accomplished by fewer than 20 percent of competitors.

In addition to his on-course experience, he has worked with several significant figures in the sport during his time as a golf instructor. Most notable among his mentors are former PGA President Jim Remy and Tri-State PGA Hall of Famer John Mazza, who competed in four golf majors.

He has also worked on the business side of golf with Fox Golf/Sandri Companies, identifying and capturing new revenue streams for the company. In his time on the corporate side of the golf world, he built corporate partnerships with prominent colleges and prep schools including the University of Massachusetts and University of Connecticut, as well as businesses such as MGM Springfield.
