Bio

Andrew Bracy was hired as assistant men's lacrosse coach in August 2023. He will assist in all aspects of the program.

Bracy joined the Yellow Jackets with a large body of high-level lacrosse experience both on the field and on the sidelines.

As a player, he was a two-time All-GNAC selection at Norwich University, where he played from 2012-15, and was the NCAA Division III faceoff leader in 2015 with a 74.3 win percentage. He graduated from Norwich as the program’s all-time faceoff win percentage leader at 66.9 percent, and earned Academic All-New England as well as a selection to the East-West All-Star Game from the NEILA in 2015.

He went on to play professionally in Major League Lacrosse for both the Ohio Machine and the New York Lizards, as well as with the Hampton Hammerheads of the Professional Box Lacrosse Association.

His coaching resume includes two seasons as an assistant with the University of Vermont from 2017-19, followed by a return to Norwich. From 2019-21 he was assistant women’s soccer and lacrosse coach, before moving to the bench on the men’s lacrosse team for 2021-23. There, he helped the Cadets win the 2022 GNAC Championship and advance to their second-ever NCAA Division III Tournament, earning their first win in the opening round.

Bracy graduated from Norwich in the spring of 2015 with a degree in history.
