SPRINGFIELD, Massachusetts - The American International College women's basketball team fell 89-49 to Le Moyne College in Northeast-10 Conference action on Saturday, February 11.
AIC is now 14-11 overall and 10-7 in the NE10.
Le Moyne got off to an incredible start, hitting each of its last eight attempts from deep in the opening quarter and taking a 32-8 lead. The Yellow Jackets could not overcome the early deficit, as the Dolphins hit seven more threes during the game and shot just shy of 50 percent overall the rest of the way.
In spite of the setback, Taylor Tomlinson was the game's leading scorer, accounting for 20 points for the Yellow Jackets.
AIC returns to action Wednesday, February 15 at Southern New Hampshire University.
