WBCA names Lee to All-America squad
ATLANTA, Georgia - The honors keep rolling in for American International College women's basketball's Briana Lee, who added an All-America Honorable Mention nod from the Women's Basketball Coaches Association on Thursday, March 21.
Lee was one of four players from the Northeast-10 Conference to earn All-America recognition from the WBCA.
As complete a player as can be, Lee dazzled throughout the 2023-24 campaign. She led AIC with 18.2 points and 9.4 rebounds per game, and was the NE10's only player to be top-three in the conference in both categories. Additionally, she led the conference in steals with 2.0 per game, and racked up 14 double doubles.
Lee's honor comes on the heels of earning D2CCA Second-Team All-Region and Northeast-10 Conference Second-Team All-Conference honors, and closes out an incredible NCAA career where she logged over 1900 points and over 1000 rebounds.
It is the second year in a row that the WBCA has recognized an AIC student-athlete, following Taylor Tomlinson's selection in 2022-23.
