"Another big opportunity for AIC and well earned by Nise. Looking forward to hearing all about her experience and what she'll bring back to the program," noted Director of Rugby T Fletcher.
Sanft, a sophomore from Palo Alto, California, has done well as the team's fullback. Her kicking ability in particular helped lead AIC to NIRA Division II victories over the University of New Haven and West Chester University. She also scored a try against the Rams, as well as in AIC's home win over NIRA Division I Princeton University.
She joins Demitrius Ta'ape from the men's rugby program as current Yellow Jackets wearing the Red, White, and Blue after Ta'ape was selected to play for the US U18 men's team earlier this month.
