Strength & Conditioning
AIC Strength and Conditioning Mission Statement:
To develop the physical and mental traits that will help our student-athletes reach their athletic potential and reduce their risk of injury in a safe, demanding, competitive, and positive environment.
AIC student-athletes train multiple times a week, year round, during scheduled team training sessions. Training sessions may be held in the Varsity Weight Room/Performance Center, on the court, field, or track. All training is programmed to elicit adaptions for athletic performance and to reduce the risk of injury at the appropriate time of an in-season or off-season schedule. Student-athletes are also equipped with training programs to complete during breaks in the university’s calendar. Varying open hours in the Varsity Weight Room and Performance Center are available for student-athletes to use the facility to perform supplemental training provided by a member of the Strength and Conditioning staff or any other additional training they may desire.
