
Ellison grabs D2CCA First-Team All-Region honors
NEW HAVEN, Connecticut - Justice Ellison of the American International College men's basketball team was one of five selections to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association's All-East Region First-Team, the organization announced on Friday, March 15.
Ellison will move on to the D2CCA All-American ballot.
A powerhouse offensive talent, Ellison led the Northeast-10 Conference with 21.9 points per game, scoring 634 total points as he shot 46.7 percent from the floor. He posted 11 games of 25 points or more, including a career-best 39 in AIC's overtime defeat in the NE10 Tournament at Southern Connecticut.
He was a workhorse for AIC, playing just shy of 35 minutes per night, and in addition to being the team's leading scorer, also pulled in 6.1 rebounds per game and posted a 1.3 assist to turnover ratio. He also collected 37 steals in 29 games.
