NEW HAVEN, Connecticut - The American International College women's soccer team fell 2-0 to Southern Connecticut State University in Northeast-10 Conference play on Wednesday, October 9.
AIC is now 5-3-1 overall and 1-2-1 in the NE10.
The Owls jumped on the board early as Sydney Myers struck at 9:30 of the first half.
Southern Connecticut State added another goal in the early stages of the second half; Emma Noheimer scored at 53:36.
AIC generated six of its nine shots on goal in the second period, but could not break through.
Tia Kelk made five saves in the setback.
AIC returns to action on Saturday, October 12 at 5:00 p.m. for an NE10 contest against Adelphi University.
