Bio
American International College named Jessica Harrison as its Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach in July 2024.
Harrison’s resume both behind the bench and on the field is impressive. She founded and coached WOBZ Lacrosse, an elite-level adult women’s lacrosse team that competes at the Vail Lacrosse Shootout and the Lake Placid Summit Classic. In addition to coaching, she managed the budget, scheduling, travel, and equipment, and was able to connect with The Headstrong Foundation as well as use the team to fundraise for cancer patients.
She also worked with True Lacrosse Ohio, serving as both assistant and later head coach of the 2026 squad in 2022-23, where she helped develop and execute practice plans and coached in-game. Prior to that, she was an assistant coach with the Havoc 970 Club Lacrosse program in Colorado from 2015-22.
As a student-athlete, Harrison played at the University of Hartford from 2018-22 when the Hawks were in Division I; she was a three-time America East Commissioner’s Honor Roll and led the team with 20 goals and 22 points in 2021; in three total seasons in the midfield, she played 32 games and scored 31 goals while winning 17 draw controls. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a management minor.
She completed a graduate year at Xavier University in 2022-23. While earning her master’s in business administration, she garnered Big East All-Academic honors and Second-Team All-Conference as a midfielder thanks to an 11-game showing with seven goals, two assists, 12 ground balls, 25 draw controls, and six caused turnovers during the Musketeers inaugural season.
Harrison also played one season as an attacker at West Chester University in 2023-24; in 20 games she scored 26 goals and seven assists while winning 33 draw controls. She was selected to the IWLCA D2 All-Star Game and named to the IWLCA D2 Honor Roll. While at West Chester, she earned a certificate in digital media marketing.
