GARDEN CITY, New York - The American International College women's lacrosse team dropped a 22-4 Northeast-10 Conference contest at Adelphi University on Saturday, March 22.
AIC is now 2-6 overall and 0-3 in the NE10.
Jordyn Galgay scored twice for the Yellow Jackets, while Gabrielle Walz notched a goal and set up another; Isabelle Stone score once, while Mackenna Donohue and Robin Trombly each registered an assist.
The Yellow Jackets return to action Wednesday, March 26 as part of a doubleheader with men's lacrosse against Franklin Pierce University, with the men at 4:00 p.m. and the women at 7:00 p.m. The teams will be hosting their Haudenosaunee Heritage Day Games, honoring the Haudenosaunee people and the sacred role the sport plays in their history and culture.
