WORCESTER, Massachusetts - The American International College men's lacrosse team fell 26-5 to Assumption University in Northeast-10 Conference play on Saturday, March 22.
AIC is now 2-5 on the season and 0-2 in the NE10.
The Yellow Jackets saw multipoint games from Carter Linkletter, who scored twice, Seven Gillingham, who had two assists, and Tyler Goode and Cole Gaudet, who each had a tally and a helper. Jordan Boyenko put home AIC's other goal.
The Yellow Jackets return to action Wednesday, March 26 as part of a doubleheader with women's lacrosse against Franklin Pierce University, with the men at 4:00 p.m. and the women at 7:00 p.m. The teams will be hosting their Haudenosaunee Heritage Day Games, honoring the Haudenosaunee people and the sacred role the sport plays in their history and culture.
