
Four from Track & Field earn USTFCCCA All-Region; El Fahim takes two honors
NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced its selections for the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field All-Region Teams on Wednesday, March 12. Four members of the American International College team were honored as All-East Region selections.

Per the USTFCCCA, the top five individual performers in each region were selected as All-Region; for relay events, all members of the top three relay teams in each region earned selections.
Ayoub El Fahim was honored individually as the second-fastest finisher in the East in the 200-meter dash, clocking a time of 21.57 seconds at Boston University's Last Chance Meet on March 2.
He also was part of AIC's 4x400 meter relay team that posted the third-fastest time of any squad in the East Region, a 3:20.96 at the 2025 Northeast-10 Indoor Track & Field Championship. He ran the second leg, following Justin Baker, and followed by Mike Ricketts and Kevin Brady.
All four earned their first Indoor All-Region accolades; El Fahim earned his third and fourth All-Region honor overall, having been lauded in the spring of 2024 as an All-East Region selection for Outdoor Track & Field in the 100-meter dash and 200-meter dash.
