American International College Director of Volleyball Matthew Cribbin announced the hiring of AIC alumnus Wade Robidoux ’22 MBA as the new Head Men’s Volleyball Coach on May 7, 2024
Robidoux is a incredibly familiar with the College itself as an alumnus, having earned his master’s degree in business administration from AIC in 2022; his time as a student at the College occurred during the infancy of the men’s volleyball program. He joined an impressive list of five other AIC alums serving as head coach of teams at the College.
Robidoux is familiar with the volleyball landscape in Western Massachusetts; the Agawam, Massachusetts native brings a half-decade of experience in coaching to the job at the high school and club levels. He has been the head coach of the Pioneer Valley Club Volleyball program since 2019, and also has served as the head junior varsity girls and boys coach at Westfield High School, helping develop players for the Bombers varsity programs that have won sectional and state championships.
This followed an undergraduate education at Regis College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management. At Regis, Robidoux was a two-year member of the men’s volleyball team at middle blocker, compiling 171 kills and 44 blocks in 28 matches. He hit an impressive .411 as a junior in 2016 before having his season cut short by injury.
