Bio

Brianna Harzula was named American International College Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant ahead of the 2024-25 academic year following four years as a student-worker on the Athletic Communications staff as an undergraduate.

Harzula was a four-year member of the softball team at the College from 2020-24. Although recruited as a shortstop, Harzula became a true utility player for the Yellow Jackets across her 119 games, seeing time at both middle infield positions as well as in left and right field; her skill on both sides of the ball led her to being selected as a utility player on the 2023 Northeast-10 All-Conference Third Team. Her dedication to her craft and her teammates led to her being selected a team co-captain in 2024.

She also garnered tremendous academic success while a student-athlete. An eight-time NE10 Academic Honor Roll recipient, she was recognized in 2023 as an NE10 Academic All-Conference selection, and in both 2023 and 2024 earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors. As a senior in 2024, she earned the NE10 Presidents' Award for Academic Excellence.

Harzula, a native of Bernardsville, New Jersey, earned her undergraduate degree from AIC in sport and recreation management in the spring of 2024.
