The John G. Hoyt ’52 Track and Field Complex was completed in October 2009, and serves as the home facility for AIC’s cross country and track and field programs.
 
It features an eight-lane 400-meter track with a water jump for steeplechase races, two long/triple jump lanes, a pole vault pit, an area inside the track for high jump, and separate areas for the hammer throw and javelin throw.

Additionally, the grass field located inside the track serves as a secondary practice/game facility for the soccer teams and is lined appropriately for competition.
 
Bleacher seating is located just outside of the long/triple jump lanes on the front stretch of the course for fans to watch during home events such as the annual Yellow Jacket Invitational held every April.

Usage Policy

GENERAL RULES:
MassMutual Field is available by reservation only.
Users must be prepared to present a valid AIC ID upon the request of a college official.
Facilities may not be used for personal profit.
All trash must be discarded.
John G. Hoyt Track may be used by individuals of the local community during designated hours.

Venue security reserves the right to search all items or further prohibit items not included above if deemed inappropriate or present a safety or security risk. Prohibited items must be returned to the owner’s car or discarded.
