Bio

Ali Sheeha joined the American International College Sports Medicine and Performance staff as an Associate Athletic Trainer in September 2024. 

Sheehan is no stranger to the City of Homes, having worked at the High School of Commerce in 2023-24 as well as from 2019-2021. While there, Sheehan covered 18 different teams, including collision sports such as football, lacrosse, and wrestling as well as sports such as soccer, volleyball, and basketball.

She worked to manage the budget to order and created an inventory system to track supplies while at Commerce, and also created and implemented the school’s first Emergency Action Plan and Policies. Additionally, she educated student-athletes in areas of nutrition, and utilized imagery and motivational techniques to overcome mental and physical challenges. 

From 2021-23, Sheehan worked as an athletic trainer at Babson College. There, she covered 12 NCAA Division II teams including the cross country and track programs and women’s volleyball, basketball, lacrosse, and soccer as well as both tennis teams.

With the Beavers, Sheehan managed injury prevention, evaluation, and rehabilitation. She worked with a variety of modalities in treatment and rehabilitation, from traditional taping, bracing, and padding through to advanced modalities such as ultrasound and laser treatment. She also handled administrative tasks within the sports medicine office.

Sheehan graduated from Fitchburg State University with a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science with a concentration in fitness management in 2017, then earned a master’s degree in athletic training from Plymouth State University in 2019.

She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and licensed in Massachusetts.
