Kone impresses at Pro Day
WORCESTER, Massachusetts – A number of scouts and representatives from around the NFL were on hand to watch and evaluate Sidiki Kone run drills at the annual Pro Day at the Luth Athletic Complex on the campus of The College of Holy Cross on Thursday.
Running back Sidiki Kone, who is projected as a 7th round draft pick to undrafted free agent in the upcoming NFL Draft, excelled in every metric throughout the day. Compared to the 32 participants at the RB position in the 2025 NFL Combine, Kone scored in the top-20 in every category and in the top-10 in the vertical jump, broad jump, 3-cone, and 20-yard shuttle.

"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to showcase my skills and the Pro Day," said Kone, a two-time captain and All-Northeast-10 Conference player. "It was a huge moment in my journey, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. All praise to the most high. I appreciate everyone who supported me along the way, and I'm excited to continue working hard toward my dream of playing in the NFL."
Earlier this winter, Sidiki was invited to both the FCS Bowl and Tropical Bowl where he made strong impressions on NFL scouts and media members. Emory Hunt of CBS Sports named Sidiki the 'Top Performer' at the running back position after the Tropical Bowl game on Sunday, January 19.
Next up for Sidiki will be several 'Local Pro Days' for the New York Giants and New York Jets. NFL rules allow each organization to host one local pro day, inviting players that played football locally either in high school or in college for a workout.
The 2025 NFL Draft will take place April 24-26 in the Titletown District in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
