Bio

Daniel Carr was named an assistant football coach in July 2024. The Tucson, Arizona native will serve as the team’s wideouts coach and passing game coordinator in his first season.

Prior to Carr’s arrival at AIC, he served as the wideouts and running backs coach as well as the offensive coordinator for the last 3 games at New Mexico Highlands University. During his time tenure he mentored standouts C.J Simms and Shantay Mills.

Before his time at New Mexico Highlands, Coach Carr has had the opportunity to be a graduate assistant with the wideouts at both the University of Utah and New Mexico State University, respectively.

Preceding the leap to college football, Coach Carr coached high school football in the state of Arizona for a total of four years. 

Daniel has earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Arizona as well as a master's degree in education from New Mexico State University.
