Bio
American International College named Corey Nehlig as its Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach in July 2024.
Nehlig comes to AIC from Albright College in Pennsylvania, where he was the lead offensive assistant as well as their extra man offense coordinator. Additionally, he was responsible for the development of offensive players and goalkeepers. In game, he managed the substitution box. He also took part in recruiting, as well as in off-season goal setting for player and coach development.
Among his most notable mentees at Albright was Jack Burke, who scored 34 goals and 18 assists for 52 points in earning MAC Commonwealth All-Conference honors.
Prior to his time at Albright, Nehlig was the head coach of the Lampeter-Strasburg High School team in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he was responsible for all aspects of the program, including practice and game scheduling, communication with the program’s booster club, film, and more. He held that role from 2018-2020 after serving as an assistant coach the prior year.
Nehlig was a four-year member of the Randolph College men’s lacrosse team from 2013-16, serving as a team captain in both his junior and senior years. He played 62 games for the Wildcats in his career in the midfield, scoring 36 goals and 45 points with 30 ground balls. He earned a bachelor’s degree in sport and exercise studies from Randolph, and is seeking a master’s degree in athletic leadership.
