Bio

Coach Fletcher is currently the Director of Rugby at American International College. In 2019, she made history as the first female to take her Men’s DI program to a national platform with AIC’s 7s team taking 2nd in the nation. She is USA Rugby's first female to head coach a men’s team at the highest collegiate level.
 
Her other head coaching experience includes The Hustlers, a team based on the East Coast since 2008. She developed practice plans, training regimens, and workouts for the team and won 92% of the tournaments they entered, which resulted in invitations to the USA Women's Sevens National Team Camp in 2009 and international play in 2010. She is also currently on the staff of Northeast Academy and New England Free Jacks’ Junior Jacks, which are both National Development Programs, the USA South U20 Women, and the Collegiate All-Americans.

She played DI collegiate soccer at Appalachian State University in North Carolina and found rugby later in her collegiate career. She served as a player, captain, and assistant coach and was named an All-American in 2006. She also played for several North Carolina-based club teams, most notably the Raleigh Venom, for whom she played from 2007 to 2018.

She has additional playing experience with the Capital Selects, Phoenix, and Stars Select Sides. She was selected captain for multiple tours with both their 7s and 15s team and also participated in the USA Women's Sevens National Camp in 2009 and the USA Eagles Top 30 Camp in 2012. She took home a gold medal from RAN 10s in Mexico City in 2018 and a bronze medal from RAN 10s in Barbados in 2019 with USA South and was named to the 2018 RAN Women’s 10s All-Star team. Fletcher was selected to represent The Phoenix select side at Dubai Rugby 7s and because of their performance, they became the first US team to receive a bid to play in the European 7s Championship Series. She is currently playing in the Women’s Premier League, the highest level for women in the US, for Beantown Women’s Rugby.
